The Chamber performs the following activities:
1. CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN
The Chamber is authorised by the Government of India since its inception to ISSUE CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN under Article II of the International Convention relating to simplification of customs formalities. The Chamber issues Certificate of Origin in respect of the following products:

2. LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS
The Chamber helps its outstation & local members getting their export documents attested from Ministry of External Affairs & then legalised from the various Embassies at Delhi.
3. VISA
The Chamber issue recommendatory letter to its members for obtaining VISA from various foreign Embassies in India, so that the Exporters can easily go abroad for their Export/Consultancy/ Business Promotion Tours.
4. TRADE ENQUIRIES
Since the establishment, of this Chamber many trade enquiries are received from all over the world and the same are being circulated amongst the members to approach directly in furtherance of their Export & Import trade.
5. PUBLICATIONS
The Chamber publishes D.C.C. Trade Directory every year, which is provided free to all the members, Foreign Embassies in India, Indian Embassies abroad, Foreign government bodies and Chambers of Commerce all over the world, Buyers & Bying Agents in India & Abroad, Export & Import Promotion Councils and other agencies in India . This serve as best reference document.
The Chamber also publishes DCC Trade Bulletin fortnightly which includes the Export & Import trade enquiries. The Export & Import Public Notices issued by Government of India. Ministry of Commerce & Industry and The Customs & Central Excise Notifications issued by Governmnet of India. Ministry of Finance and the same is provided to all the members free of cost.
6. EXHIBITIONS & DELEGATIONS ABROAD
The Chamber encourages its members to participate in Exhibitions in India and abroad arranged by India Trade Promotion Organisations & respective governments. The visits of trade delegations of our members are also organised.
7. SEMINARTS
The Chamber Organises Seminars on various subjects related to Export, Import and General Trade.
8. WEBSITE
A State of art website 'www.delhichamber.com' is developed by our chamber, The website includes all the details of our members with complete information about their company's nature of business and items in which they deal. The website also contains complete informatins in respect of Embasisies / High Commission of the various Countries in India, Indian Embassies / High Commission Abroad, Export Promotion Councils in India, Custom House Agents in Delhi and the various Chambers of Commerce spread all over the world. This website offers free service to the Imprters and Exporters to Post their trade inquiries on the website and choose their business partners in India. We regularly update the website and add more sections and information for the Business community of India.
9. SECRETARIAL & MANAGEMENT SERVICES
The Chamber provides Secretariate & Management Services to smaller associations and members who cannot afford to have their own secretarial services, on payment of nominal charges.
10. DEBT RECOVERY
Assistance is provided to our members and members of Foreign Chambers of Commerce for the recovery and settlement of their dues.
11. ISSUE OF STATUS & PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES
The Chamber issues status and performance certificate to members for securing business/contract abroad. Certificates are also issued in the event of abnormal fluctuations in prices delay & unforseen happenings affecting the cost structure.
12. ASSESSMENT OF LOSS OR DAMAGE
The Chamber has arrangement for assessment of loss or damage to goods in transit or at destination and can take up the work of assessment when the parties concerned agree to appoint a representative of the Chamber as assessor on charges fixed by the Committee from time to time.
13. ARBITRATION COMMITTEE
The Chamber has a Sub-Committee to arbitrate in all disputes arising out of commercial transactions between the members of the Chamber and other businessmen who shall be willing to abide by the judgement and decision of the committee.
14. NRI
The Chamber renders assistance to NRI keeping in view the concessions extended by the government of India for investments in trade, stock, real estate, machinery and business activities, including Technology required for setting up projects in India.
15. MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE
All the members of the Chamber are issued membership certificate which helps them from obtaining assistance from the Government organisations and Chambers of Commerce abroad.
16. MEMBERSHIP
The membership of the Chamber is open to all individuals, Professionals, Proprietorship Firms, Partnership Firms, Limited Companies, Banks, Organizations, Associations & Government Undertakings. It is desirable that they should join this recognised
organization in large number to protect their interest. In view of the above it is advisable for leading members of the Commercial Community, Manufactures, Exporters & importers, Limited Companies, Banks, Professionals, Industrial concerns etc. to join the Chamber in large number in their own interest. From the list of the members it will be observed that Chamber is a well represented organization.
